Privacy Policy

This policy explains the main types of information JobsMatchy uses to provide job search, CV matching, alerts, and account features.

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Information we use

JobsMatchy may process account information, CV text you upload, saved jobs, alert settings, job interactions, and basic technical analytics. CV contents and filenames are not sent to analytics services.

During the beta, the public matcher privately stores the original CV file. If you provide an email separately, sign in, or your CV contains an email address, we may use it to invite you to early access, provide 3 days of free Auto-Match and Auto-Apply use, and request feedback.

Beta CVs do not have a default automatic deletion date. They are kept privately until an administrator deletes them, schedules that individual file for deletion, or you request deletion.

If you are signed in, the extracted CV text is also saved to your Supabase-backed profile so you can reuse it until you replace it or request deletion. Anonymous beta uploads are not added to a public or user-accessible CV library.

CV text is used to score jobs, explain fit, and generate career-related outputs you request, such as cover letters.

Service providers

JobsMatchy uses infrastructure and service providers such as Supabase for auth/database features, Vercel for hosting and analytics, and configured AI and email providers when those features are enabled. A configured AI provider may process CV text to perform matching or generate an output you request.

Your choices

You can choose not to upload a CV. If you create an account, you can manage saved jobs, alerts, and profile data through the product features that are available.

You can choose not to provide an email or upload a CV. For privacy questions, deletion requests, or to stop beta follow-up messages, contact Matchy@jobsmatchy.com.
