About this role
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Intensivist with Western qualifications to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in critical care medicine, managing critically ill patients, and delivering advanced care in an intensive care unit (ICU) in accordance with international clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
- Manage complex and life-threatening medical conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced life-support interventions.
- Perform critical care procedures within the scope of training and privileges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for critically ill patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to patient safety and infection control standards.
Requirements
- Recognized specialist qualification in Intensive Care Medicine or Critical Care Medicine.
- Western qualifications from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Relevant consultant-level clinical experience.
- Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing in Dubai in accordance with applicable DHA requirements.
- Excellent clinical decision-making, communication, and patient management skills.
