About this role
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Periodontist with Western qualifications to join a leading dental or healthcare facility in Doha Qatar.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases, gum surgery, and dental implant-related procedures, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage periodontal diseases and conditions affecting the gums and supporting structures of the teeth.
- Perform periodontal surgical and non-surgical treatments.
- Provide dental implant-related procedures and peri-implant disease management, within the scope of clinical privileges.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive patient follow-up.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
Requirements
- Recognized specialist qualification in Periodontology.
- Western qualifications from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Relevant consultant-level clinical experience.
- .Eligibility for the appropriate Qatar DHP licensing classification.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and patient management skills.
