We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced, high-acuity Surgical Stepdown Unit . This dynamic unit is ideal for clinicians with an ICU/Stepdown background who thrive in a fast-moving, clinically challenging environment.

Rate: $2,263/week

Shift: Nights (7PM to 7:30AM)

Duration: 12 hours

Clinical Scope & Key Competencies: Candidates must be confident and experienced in managing high-acuity surgical devices, advanced lines, and titration/monitoring of continuous IV infusions:

Devices & Advanced Lines:

Arterial lines
Chest tubes
Tracheostomies & NG tubes
Central lines (PICC, CVC, Midlines)
Ostomies, Wound Vacs, and surgical drains (JP, Hemovac, etc.)

Cardiac & Vasoactive/Antiarrhythmic Drips: Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone

Continuous Drips & IV Infusions: High-Risk Infusions: Heparin, Continuous Insulin

Requirements

Active and unencumbered Michigan RN license
Active BLS Certification
Active ACLS Certification
1 year of recent PCU experience
