Per diem anesthesiologist opening with UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, MD—drivable distance to 3 major cities. A voluntary nonprofit hospital with 240 Medicare-certified beds, UPMC Western Maryland is an acute care, short-term facility. Located in the historic downtown area, this hospital is part of the Western Maryland Health System. - Hourly Rate: $325 per hour
- Case Assignments & Schedule
- Schedule: Various shifts
- Ortho, general, neuro, GYN, and more
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
- UPMC Western Maryland, $325/hour, Per Diem Anesthesiologist
