UPMC Western Maryland is a voluntary nonprofit, short term acute care hospital with 240 Medicare certified beds and is a member of the Western Maryland Health System. UPMC Western Maryland provides healthcare services for residents in Allegany and Garrett Counties in Maryland and surrounding counties in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. • Schedule: Various Shifts . No in house call. Beeper call.
• Cases include, but are not limited to, Ortho, General, Neuro, and GYN.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
