About this role

Alongside is a Portuguese company that partners with international organizations to build and scale exceptional tech teams.

We are looking for an Automation Developer to join a project with one of our clients, a global leader in professional information solutions and software. Operating across more than 180 countries, the company develops technology-driven solutions for industries including Healthcare, Tax & Accounting, Financial & Corporate Compliance, and Legal & Regulatory .

In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of test automation solutions for product development teams, with a strong focus on C#, .NET and Selenium WebDriver . You will help increase automation coverage, transform manual regression tests into automated test suites, and ensure automation solutions follow established engineering standards and best practices.

Responsabilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain automated tests using C# and Selenium WebDriver
  • Execute automation tests across multiple environments and browsers
  • Convert manual regression test cases into automated tests and improve automation coverage
  • Perform API testing and troubleshoot test failures
  • Review automation code and promote reusable, maintainable solutions
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams within an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET and Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience with API testing
  • Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Jira and test management tools
  • Knowledge of cross-browser testing and web technologies ( HTML, HTTP, CSS selectors, XPath )
  • Good understanding of OOP , debugging and troubleshooting
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Fluent English.
