Job Description: Punch List Finish Carpenter
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Punch List Finish Carpenter to join our team in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will have experience in final-stage carpentry tasks, focusing on detail work, touch-ups, and completing punch lists for both commercial and residential projects. You will ensure that all finishing details meet high-quality standards and deliver client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Complete final punch list items, including but not limited to trim work, caulking, patching, and painting touch-ups.
- Install cabinetry, molding, baseboards, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry tasks.
- Ensure quality craftsmanship and accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timelines are met.
- Address minor repairs and adjustments as needed before project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in finish carpentry.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools required for finish carpentry tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to bring tools to the job site.
