About this role
We are seeking a hands-on Equipment Maintenance Technician to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role is primarily mechanically focused and responsible for keeping critical equipment operating safely and reliably.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on semiconductor equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment failures and tool-down conditions.
- Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, sensor, and electromechanical systems.
- Disassemble, clean, rebuild, replace, and reassemble equipment components.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and support tool recovery.
- Document maintenance activities and follow all safety and cleanroom procedures.
Requirements
- Must have one or more of the following:
- AS/AAS in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Technology, or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of military equipment maintenance experience.
- 15+ years of hands-on equipment maintenance experience, preferably with semiconductor tools
- Ideal Background
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and use of a digital multimeter.
- Experience with PMs, CMs, equipment diagnosis, and repair.
- Direct semiconductor equipment/toolset experience strongly preferred.
Benefits
$35-50/hr depending on experience base (please note 15% night shift differential) (compressed work weeks 7-7, 12 hour shifts, day or night available)
- Annual bonus (target 8%)
- Incentive: $5-10k sign on bonus (Depending on experience)
