About this role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide expert anesthesia care, ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures, and manage perioperative pain and critical clinical situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patients' medical history and surgical risks.
- Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
- Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia as appropriate.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological status throughout surgical procedures.
- Manage airway complications, hemodynamic instability, and anesthesia-related emergencies.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and support effective pain management.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise and guide junior medical staff and contribute to clinical quality improvement.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient safety.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- MD/DNB in Anesthesiology or an equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification.
- Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
- Experience in general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, airway management, and perioperative care.
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills.
