About RHONDOS
RHONDOS is the recognized leader in SAP security and observability — trusted by Fortune 500 and Fortune 2000 enterprises globally to secure and observe their most mission-critical systems. Our PowerConnect solution delivers real-time threat detection, compliance automation, and deep operational visibility across SAP environments, on market-leading platforms including Splunk, Dynatrace, and Elastic. We maintain strategic partnerships with global systems integrators, ISVs, and VARs.
We are a rapidly growing and profitable business with a lean, highly skilled team operating with a distributed team across the globe. We move fast, think strategically, and build things that last.
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Sales Engineer to join our growing EMEA pre-sales team. You will partner closely with account executives and our regional GM to drive technical discovery, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and support the full sales cycle with SAP and security expertise.
This is an individual contributor role for an SAP professional — consultant, Basis, security, or technical — who is ready to step into a customer-facing presales role. Prior sales engineering experience is a plus but not required: we will invest in building the commercial side. The SAP depth needs to be there on day one.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer SAP landscapes, security posture, and compliance requirements
- Deliver tailored demonstrations of PowerConnect and the RHONDOS platform to both technical and executive audiences
- Develop and present proof-of-concept engagements, architecture proposals, and technical responses to RFPs
- Partner with account executives throughout the sales cycle as the primary technical voice
- Translate customer requirements into solution designs that map to RHONDOS capabilities
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customer IT, security, and SAP Basis teams
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services on smooth post-close handoffs
- Contribute to SE playbooks, demo environments, and technical assets alongside the wider presales team
- Provide market and competitive feedback to Product and Engineering teams
- Represent RHONDOS at regional SAP and cybersecurity events, conferences, and webinars
- Travel across the region as required, approximately 20%
Requirements
- What You Bring
- Required
- 3–5 years of hands-on SAP experience as a consultant, Basis or technical administrator, security specialist, or in a similar role
- Solid SAP functional or technical knowledge gained working directly with SAP customers and products
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences
- A strong interest in moving into a customer-facing, commercial role — and the curiosity to learn the sales side
- Strong written and verbal communication in English; multi-lingual a strong plus
- Resident in and legally authorized to work in Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, or Ukraine
- Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel
- Bonus Points
- Prior Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or solution consulting experience supporting enterprise sales cycles
- Hands-on experience with SAP Security, SAP GRC, or SAP Identity Management
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms, security observability, or threat detection tools
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Elastic, or similar monitoring and analytics platforms
- Exposure to cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as SOX, ISO 27001, or NIST
- Business process configuration, design, or execution in SAP manufacturing or supply chain
- This Role Is Not for Everyone
If you prefer entrenched process maturity, predictability, and a large corporate environment, this probably isn't the right fit. If you want to build something meaningful, own your work, and develop commercially at the intersection of SAP and observability, we'd like to talk.
