A leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant / Specialist Anesthesiologist to join its medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and high-quality anesthesia care across various surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety and optimal perioperative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluate patient suitability for surgery.
• Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient conditions and surgical requirements.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological parameters throughout surgical procedures.
• Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and recovery monitoring.
• Manage anesthesia-related emergencies and critical complications effectively.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Perform advanced airway management and resuscitation procedures when required.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, and international patient safety standards.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and anesthesia records.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
• Postgraduate specialization in Anesthesiology (MD, DNB, FRCA, CCT, American Board, or equivalent recognized qualification).
• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi License or Eligibility Letter preferred.
• Relevant clinical experience as a Specialist or Consultant Anesthesiologist in accordance with UAE PQR requirements.
• Strong expertise in general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, perioperative care, and critical patient management.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Consultant or Specialist classification subject to DOH qualification and experience requirements.
