About this role
You've sold technology to cities. Now help change how cities work.
Archistar is looking for an exceptional Regional Sales Director – Government Solutions to help drive our continued growth across New Zealand.
We're looking for an experienced GovTech sales professional who understands the New Zealand local government market, the people, procurement environment, challenges councils face, and what it takes to build trusted, long-term government relationships.
If you've built your career selling planning, resource consenting, building consenting, land management, GIS, regulatory technology, civic technology, digital government or enterprise SaaS solutions to councils or government agencies , we'd like to talk.
Why this opportunity is different
Archistar is at the forefront of applying AI to one of the biggest challenges facing New Zealand today — modernising planning, resource consent and building approval processes and helping communities get housing and development moving faster.
Our world-leading AI PreCheck technology helps government improve the quality of applications entering the assessment process, assess planning and building requirements earlier, reduce unnecessary rework and create better experiences for council teams, applicants and communities.
Our technology is already being used by government customers internationally, and we're continuing to grow our presence across New Zealand.
Now is a great time to join Archistar as we continue to expand our government footprint across Australia.

As Regional Sales Director – New Zealand , you'll own new government business across the country and play an important role in building Archistar's presence in the New Zealand GovTech market.

- Build trusted relationships with council executives, planning and consenting leaders, building control teams, CIOs and technology leaders, regulatory services teams, procurement teams and other key government stakeholders.
- Identify councils and government agencies looking to modernise planning, resource consenting, building consenting and development approval processes.
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement and discovery through demonstrations, business cases, procurement and contract.

- Develop strategic relationships across the New Zealand local government, planning, consenting and GovTech ecosystem.
- Work closely with our Government Solutions, Customer, Product, Technology and Marketing teams to turn opportunities into successful long-term partnerships.
- Represent Archistar at local government, planning, technology and industry events.
- Bring market intelligence and customer insight into the business as we continue to evolve our technology for New Zealand councils.
- Own your pipeline, forecasting and revenue performance.
