About this role
Cura of Willmar is looking for a dependable and friendly AM Dietary Aide to join our Dining Services team.
Cura of Willmar is a 78-bed skilled nursing community , and our Dietary team plays an important role in making sure residents start their day with a great breakfast and have an enjoyable dining experience throughout the morning and lunch service.
What You'll Do
- As an AM Dietary Aide, you'll help with breakfast and lunch service while keeping our kitchen and dining areas clean, organized, and ready for the next meal.
- Your day may include:
- Setting up and preparing for breakfast and lunch service
- Preparing and serving resident meals
- Preparing resident trays according to diet cards
- Making sure residents receive the correct foods, beverages, and diet consistencies
- Delivering and collecting resident meal trays
- Helping with snacks and refreshments
- Recording required food temperatures
- Maintaining proper hot and cold food temperatures
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing counters, equipment, and work areas
- Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors
- Restocking food and supplies
- Helping prepare the kitchen for the next meal and shift
- Communicating with nursing staff regarding resident meal needs
- Providing friendly and respectful service to residents
Requirements
- We're looking for someone who is:
- Dependable and ready to start the day at 6:00 AM
- Friendly and respectful with residents
- Comfortable staying busy and working on their feet
- Able to follow resident diet information and instructions carefully
- Willing to wash dishes, clean, and help wherever needed
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Committed to food safety, cleanliness, and good customer service
