Senior UI Designer

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• UI Design: Create high-quality, user-centric interface designs for our website and mobile application, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience
• Visual Design: Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and brand assets to ensure design consistency across all of our modules & platforms
• Collaboration: Work closely with UX Designers to translate wireframes and user flows into engaging visual designs that align with user needs and business goals
• Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes & mock-ups to communicate design concepts effectively and gather feedback from different stakeholders
• Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests & user feedback session to iterate and refine designs based on user insights
• Design Optimization: Continuously improve & optimize existing UI components & design patterns to enhance user satisfaction & usability
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product) to ensure successful implementation of designs
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to our Junior Designer, fostering a culture of design excellence within the team
• Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging design technologies, and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of professional UI design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design projects
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and an eye for details
• Experience with creating & maintaining design systems + style guides
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders
• Experience in UX is a huge plus
• Experience in designing software is also a big plus
