Westview International Language School is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher for the academic year 2026-2027. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive art curriculum, encouraging creativity, and developing students' artistic skills in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that cater to various skill levels and learning styles.
Inspire students to explore their creativity and express themselves through diverse artistic mediums.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Create a classroom environment that fosters artistic exploration and experimentation.
Organize and participate in art exhibitions, workshops, and school events to promote student work and the arts community.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across the curriculum where appropriate.
Manage art resources effectively ensuring safety and accessibility.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related fields.
Proven experience teaching art to students at different educational levels preferred.
Strong proficiency in various art techniques and mediums.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
Ability to foster an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
Good organizational skills and attention to classroom management.
Commitment to student safeguarding and wellbeing.
