Sr. Accountant (Bilingual in Korean)

[Job Description]

• Manage and oversee the daily operation of the accounting department, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile general ledger to each account’s statement on a regular basis
• Assist with quarterly book closing and generate financial statements
• Support the audit process and preparation of financial reports quarterly basis
• Making journal or ledger entries if necessary
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods and policies to ensure all compliance obligations are fulfilled
• Act as a point of contact between internal departments and accounting, serving as a liaison between accounting and external parties, including clients, suppliers, and banks
• Manage company’s federal and state tax return schedules in compliance with laws and regulations
• Review tax returns prepared by external accountant to make sure all information on the return are accurate
• Research company’s tax issues to identify solutions
• Special projects and other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English(both written and verbal) is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business related
• 3+ years of related work experience preferably in accounting, finance, or relevant field
• 4 Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and QuickBooks a plus
• 5 Strong problem solving, critical & creative thinking, interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
