Location: Motherwell - ML1 postcode

Pay: £195 per day – fuel included

ATA North is looking for reliable, professional and hardworking self-employed Delivery Drivers to join our delivery operation in Motherwell - ML1 postcode

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced multi-drop drivers looking for a competitive daily rate and the chance to work with an established logistics business.

• Own Van: Drivers providing their own vehicle must have a suitable 3.5T van and the required courier insurance and any other applicable cover.
• Rental Van: Alternatively, you can rent a suitable vehicle through one of our preferred rental suppliers. Rental costs, deposits and terms will be confirmed during recruitment.

The Role

As a UPS Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing daily parcel delivery and collection routes.
• Scanning parcels and recording deliveries accurately.
• Following UPS procedures and delivery instructions.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any damage or defects.
• Handling parcels safely, including items weighing up to 30kg.
• Managing your route efficiently and communicating any delays or issues.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21
• Full UK Category B driving licence held for at least two years.
• Maximum of six penalty points, subject to insurance requirements.
• At least six months' experience driving a 3.5T van.
• Minimum of three months' multi-drop delivery experience.
• Physically fit and able to lift parcels up to 30kg.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete required compliance checks.
• Reliable, organised and confident working independently.
• Smartphone with internet access, a phone holder and charging capability.
• Important Information
• This is a self-employed opportunity , not a PAYE position. Drivers are responsible for their own business expenses, including applicable vehicle rental and insurance costs.
