What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform spay and neuter surgeries 30-35 (high-quality, efficient techniques encouraged)
  • Conduct physical exams and diagnose medical conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Perform small animal soft tissue surgeries (mentorship available)
  • Provide preventive and wellness care
  • Educate clients on treatment options and preventive health
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with California regulations

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited program
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of California
  • Ability to obtain a DEA certificate.
  • Must have 2 years of veterinary medical experience and 1 year of which includes surgical experience in spaying/neutering.
  • Passion for accessible veterinary care

Compensation: $120,000 to $170,000 with a sign on bonus of $10,000 for one year commitment.
