Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain bookbinding machines efficiently and safely.
- Prepare materials such as paper, covers, and adhesives for binding processes.
- Monitor the binding process to ensure finished products meet quality standards.
- Inspect completed books for defects and perform necessary quality checks.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Keep accurate production records and report any machine malfunctions or issues.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookbinder Operator or similar role in print production.
- Familiarity with various bookbinding techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot bookbinding machinery.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
