Specialist / Consultant - Hand Surgery-Government Facility-UAE

About this role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant in Hand Surgery to join a prestigious premium healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremities, providing advanced surgical and non-surgical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions.
• Perform reconstructive and corrective hand surgeries.
• Manage traumatic hand injuries, fractures, tendon injuries, and nerve injuries.
• Perform microsurgical procedures and complex tissue reconstruction, where qualified.
• Treat congenital hand deformities and degenerative conditions.
• Manage carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, and other nerve compression disorders.
• Provide postoperative care and rehabilitation guidance.
• Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient safety.

Requirements

• Recognized Specialist or Consultant qualification in Hand Surgery.
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications and clinical experience.
• Proven experience in hand and upper extremity surgery.
• Expertise in surgical management of complex hand injuries and conditions.
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
• UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and German Board.
