Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical problems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to execute work effectively.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Provide accurate estimates for electrical work and inform clients of costs, timelines, and required materials.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, codes, and safety practices concerning electrical installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist in training apprentices and junior electricians as needed.

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized electrician training program or apprenticeship.
• Several years of experience as a licensed Electrician, preferably in commercial and residential projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Valid electrician’s license and relevant certifications.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
