We are looking for an Art Teacher for a bilingual international school in Shanghai, teaching primarily at the primary school level. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2027.

Job Responsibilities
- Teach art primarily to primary school students through engaging, age-appropriate lessons
- Introduce a range of artistic techniques and materials to develop students’ creativity and visual expression
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials and assessments that support different learning needs
- Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop the curriculum and support interdisciplinary projects
- Organize displays of student artwork to celebrate learning and achievement
- Maintain a safe, supportive art classroom and guide students in the responsible use of materials and equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in art or a related field
- Relevant experience teaching art to primary school students is essential
- Ability to plan creative, age-appropriate lessons and support students with different learning needs
- Strong communication, collaboration and classroom management skills
- Commitment to student development and education

- Monthly salary of RMB 30,000 to 35,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
