UI UX Designer

About this role

J ob Purpose:

As the UI/UX Senior/Assitant Manager at Arabic.AI, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of user

experience and interface design across all digital platforms, including AI-powered solutions. You will lead

a team of designers to deliver innovative, human-centered designs that enhance usability and drive

business value. This role plays a key part in shaping the interaction layer of AI features, ensuring seamless,

intuitive, and trustworthy user experiences for AI-driven products and workflows.

Duties &

Responsibilities

• Strategic Design Leadership
• Define and drive the overall UI/UX vision and strategy across web, mobile, and AI-driven
• applications.
• Lead the design and continuous improvement of intuitive interfaces for AI-powered features such
• as natural language processing tools, recommendation engines, and intelligent automation.
• Build and evolve the company’s design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability
• across platforms.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of UI/UX designers and researchers; provide regular
• feedback, coaching, and growth opportunities.
• Promote a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning—especially in
• emerging fields like AI-human interaction.
• Oversee workload distribution and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design assets.
• Design Execution & Oversight
• Guide the end-to-end design process—from discovery and user flows to high-fidelity mockups
• and prototypes—ensuring alignment with both business objectives and AI product capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to design user-friendly interfaces for complex AI
• models, balancing simplicity with technical power.
• Review interactive prototypes to ensure usability and trust in AI outputs (e.g., explainability,
• confidence levels, feedback mechanisms).
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Partner with engineering, product management, and AI teams to embed user feedback into
• product development cycles.
• Translate technical concepts from AI research into intuitive and digestible UI components for end
• users.
• Use customer research, behavioral analytics, and usability testing to continuously optimize AIpowered user journeys.
• Governance & Performance Measurement
• Monitor key performance metrics for design impact, including adoption of AI features, usability
• satisfaction, and error reduction.
• Ensure all interfaces—especially those driven by AI—comply with accessibility, responsiveness,
• and data privacy standards.
• Deliver monthly design and UX reports with insights into user behavior, AI feature performance,
• and improvement opportunities.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
• Prior experience designing for AI or data-driven platforms (e.g., chatbots, dashboards,
• recommendation systems, etc.) is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Familiarity with user research tools and behavioral analytics platforms (e.g., Hotjar, Maze,
• Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating in agile environments and delivering results in fast-paced,
• iterative cycles.
• Strong portfolio showcasing leadership in complex and scalable design systems, with a special
• focus on intelligent and automated interfaces.
