About this role
McDonald's is seeking a dependable Maintenance Person to help keep our restaurant clean, safe, and running smoothly. This role is responsible for general facility upkeep, basic equipment care, and supporting a great guest experience by maintaining a clean and well-functioning environment.
Requirements
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, restrooms, kitchen, and exterior areas (including parking lot, roof, and dumpster area)
- Perform routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and deep cleaning.
- Complete basic building and grounds upkeep (light repairs, changing bulbs/filters, minor touch ups)
- Assist with equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance per company procedures and standards
- Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines at all times
- Support opening/closing and special cleaning projects as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable performing physical work (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow checklists, safety rules, and cleaning procedures
- Basic mechanical/handyman skills preferred (training provided)
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
