About this role
We are seeking an experienced Specialist Periodontist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating gum diseases and supporting structures of the teeth, providing advanced periodontal care to improve patients’ oral health.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage periodontal diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis.
- Perform deep cleaning, scaling, and root planing procedures.
- Provide surgical periodontal treatments, including gum grafting and regenerative procedures.
- Perform dental implant placement and related periodontal procedures, where appropriate.
- Manage gum recession, bone loss, and other periodontal conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and long-term periodontal maintenance.
- Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow established clinical protocols.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- BDS or equivalent dental degree.
- MDS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Periodontology.
- Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
- Experience in periodontal surgery, implant-related procedures, and gum disease management.
- Strong clinical skills and excellent patient communication abilities.
