About this role
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, process models, and solution proposals.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement walkthroughs with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented and validated.
- Maintain documentation governance, version control, and traceability across SDLC.
- Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities for efficiency and quality.
- (For senior level) Mentor junior analysts and ensure adherence to documentation standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role within payment, loyalty or financial industries.
- Strong understanding of system analysis, process re-engineering, and IT delivery lifecycles .
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall environments.
- Proficient in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Lucidchart, Whimsical, Figma, or similar .
- Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools for analysis.
- Preferred certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, IIBA-AAC, or Agile (Scrum Master / Product Owner) .
