IPTV Services Network & Systems Support Engineer

About this role

MCOMS is looking for a skilled engineer with a strong Network & IT technical background to join our installation and technical support team.

Key Accountabilities:

Implement Installation, configuration and integration of MCOM Guest facing technologies & products for MCOMS customers in all different contexts (Hospitality, Cruise ship, Healthcare and Senior living)

Deliver 2nd and 3rd level remote technical support services end to end for MCOMS customer base worldwide as per company’s policies and procedures.

Manage customer complaints and customer inquiries (E2E approach) via a unified web ticketing management platform

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports in cooperation with other departments (Product Development / Presales / Content)

Requirements

• Technical knowledge in IP Network infrastructure & technologies (Cisco or Aruba)
• Very good analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to handle and solve technical problems, attention to detail
• Strong team player, good communication skills.
• Willing to invest time and energy in mastering new skills (Cloud technologies, Next generation networks, VMs, automation solutions)
• Ability to travel in Greece and Europe up to 20% per year for short duration company projects on customers sites.
• Technical Background
• BSc Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience (minimum three years)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating systems (Windows 2019 Server and newer)
• Knowledge or hands on experience with Hypervisors’ architecture
• Certification in networking from Cisco, (CCNA/P) or equivalent proven hands-on working experience
• Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
