Location: South Africa (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Salary: R 23,500–26,000

Description

We are looking for a professional, proactive, and people-focused HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role that combines recruitment, onboarding, and HR support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people while keeping processes organised and moving efficiently. You'll play a key role in creating a positive candidate experience—from screening resumes and scheduling interviews to supporting new hires through onboarding and answering day-to-day HR questions.

We're looking for someone who is friendly, hardworking, highly organised, and willing to step in wherever needed. The right person will be a strong communicator, a quick learner, and someone who takes ownership of their work while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen resumes received through Indeed and the company website.
  • Review applications and identify qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate availability.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidate suitability.
  • Extend job offers and communicate

  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Onboarding & Compliance

  • Guide new hires through the onboarding process.
  • Answer onboarding-related questions and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Download, organise, and file onboarding documentation accurately.
  • Complete background checks, healthcare checks, and certification verifications.
  • Follow up with candidates to ensure onboarding is completed promptly.

HR Support

  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, PTO, and general HR processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Assist with administrative tasks that support the HR function.
  • Provide support wherever needed to help the team operate efficiently.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, HR Administration, People Operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A professional and approachable communication style.
  • High attention to detail when handling documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing as a team player.
  • Proactive, motivated, and willing to step in where needed.
  • A fast learner with a flexible and adaptable mindset.
