Specific Duties & Responsibilites
Regular/Routine
· Lead and manage branch operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
· Drive sales performance across deposits, loans, cards, and other retail products.
· Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues promptly.
· Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements.
· Manage operational, credit, and fraud risks within the branch.
· Monitor branch financial performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
· Coach and develop branch staff to build a high-performing team.
· Promote digital migration and self-service channels.
· Maintain strong relationships with local businesses and community stakeholders.
· Prepare and submit accurate reports on branch performance and compliance.
· Lead cost optimization: lean processes, cash-in-transit efficiencies, and facilities management.
Requirements
- Minimum Education - A good first degree in any discipline. Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage.
- Formal Training - A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum Experience - 5 – 7+ years in retail banking with at least 3 years in leadership role.
