About this role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead initiatives across real estate lending, finance, compliance, and investment fund operations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of direct project management experience in financial services, real estate, or fund management and can independently manage projects from planning through implementation and launch.

This role requires ownership of project scope, budgets, risks, timelines, and cross-functional teams, along with the ability to improve operational processes and deliver measurable business results in a compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects across lending operations, financial reporting, compliance, and investor services from initial planning through implementation and launch.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, deliverables, resource requirements, and success metrics.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, manage dependencies and vendor commitments, track milestones, and oversee deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate with lending, finance, compliance, reporting, and investor operations teams to align priorities and maintain project progress.
  • Identify operational risks, compliance concerns, resource constraints, and potential delays; develop and implement mitigation plans.
  • Oversee project documentation, reporting workflows, implementation requirements, and operational handoffs.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, project performance, and key decisions while providing regular updates to executive stakeholders.
  • Maintain project governance, track risks and action items, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
  • Evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to strengthen controls, reporting accuracy, and operational performance.
  • Resolve project issues, remove obstacles, and ensure initiatives meet defined business objectives within agreed timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct project management experience in finance, real estate, financial services, or investment fund management.
  • Experience managing initiatives involving lending processes, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, or investor operations.
  • Proven ability to own project scope, budgets, vendor management, risk tracking, timelines, and executive communications from initiation through launch.
  • Experience working in regulated financial services or other compliance-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, governance, milestone management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, project management tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve complex issues, and deliver measurable results.

Important: Candidates must have independently managed complex projects and been accountable for delivery outcomes. Experience limited to administrative support, scheduling, or project coordination will not qualify.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Potential health insurance benefits.
  • Retirement plan options.
  • Paid time off.
  • Additional company-sponsored benefits and programs.
