Software Engineer (Quality Assurance) - Brazil

About this role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in Brazil. You will be responsible for ensuring software quality through manual testing, functional validation, API testing, accessibility testing, and user acceptance testing.

You will work closely with development, product, and other cross-functional teams to identify issues, improve testing processes, and help deliver reliable and high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute manual and functional testing activities.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform regression testing to ensure product stability across releases.
• Conduct API testing using Postman.
• Perform accessibility testing based on WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities.
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, testing strategies, and overall software quality.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with manual and functional testing.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test plans.
• Experience with regression testing and UAT.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman.
• Experience with accessibility testing and WCAG guidelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of English communication skills.
• Based in Brazil
• Industry Experience
• Experience in one or more of the following industries is relevant:
• Healthcare
• HealthTech
• Medical Software
• Digital Health
• Industry experience will be considered as a relevant qualification, but candidates with strong QA experience outside these industries may also be considered.
