Marketing Associate

Experience: 2 to 5 years

Salary: 30,000 to 35,000 Rand/mo.

Location: Cape Town

We are hiring a marketing associate to join our team. The marketing associate will be responsible for supporting long-term strategies and managing day-to-day projects for Mariner’s investment banking division. This is a chance to join a growing division with the opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing lead on ideas to help the firm reach strategic goals and to ensure projects are on target
• Project contact for internal clients, providing detail-oriented and organized management for specific projects and assignments
• Assist in prioritizing projects and setting expectations with internal stakeholders
• Ensure projects are completed on time and to goal or strategy
• Implement
• strategies and assist in tactical executions as well as monitoring of marketing campaigns
• Interact with external vendors as needed
• to support project needs
• Manage and organize project flow
• Prioritize multiple projects against deadlines
• Coordinate post-deal creative assets
• Manage Social Media postings, with a focus on LinkedIn
• Create initial copy for digital ads, email marketing campaigns for new business, website copy
• Other duties as assigned
• Skills and Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies
• Ability to write copy within organizational tone and
• voice

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required; OR equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job
• 3-5 years experience in the marketing field

• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and in person)
• Ability to multitask while delivering consistent results amid competing demands
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and Outlook
