The in vitro pharmacology scientist is responsible for the design, development and validation of in vitro assays, including molecular biology and cellular assays for drug discovery programs. This position will play a key role in advancing preclinical pipelines through rigorous in vitro data generation and mechanism exploration.

Responsibilities and Duties:

In Vitro Assays Development &Execution

• Design, optimize, and validate robust in vitro assays to support target validation, lead optimization, and mechanism-of-action studies.

• Independently execute a wide range of molecular and cellular assays, including but not limited to ELISA, Western blot, FACS, qPCR, and high-content imaging.

• Maintain and utilize diverse mammalian cell culture systems, including primary cells and immortalized cell lines. Explore and establish novel co-culture and 3D culture models to better mimic in vivo microenvironments.

维护并利用多种哺乳动物细胞培养系统，包括原代细胞和永生化细胞系。探索并建立新型共培养和3D培养模型，以更好地模拟体内微环境。

• Analyze, interpret, and present scientific data clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams to support project decision-making.

• Ensure all experimental execution and data recording adhere to strict data integrity standards and compliance protocols, e.g. electronic lab notebook and preclinical research guidelines.

• Contribute to pre-clinical development studies and actively participate in technology innovation within the platform.

Educational

Requirements

• 教育背景要求:
• ·        Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Neuroscience or a related field.

• Expertise in cell-based assay and protein-based detection assay development .

• Strong hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques (protein/RNA detection, gene editing).

• Proficiency in mammalian cell culture, with experience in primary cells (e.g., neurons, glia) or iPSC-derived models being highly valued.

• Familiarity with automation and liquid handling systems.

• A demonstrated track record of contributions to preclinical drug development projects.
