Job Description
Trade Compliance Specialist - India
Purpose
Manage the day-to-day interaction and coordination of the import/export of goods and services items entering/exiting India. This role is critical to the business, ensuring Import and Export Operations meet compliance and customs requirements are accurate and efficient.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- ▶With minimal supervision, perform Import/Export activities in compliance with local Government rules and regulations, organizational policies and procedures;
- ▶Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and implement best practices and maintain a culture of continuous improvement within Logitech Trade Compliance;
- ▶Engage with Logitech Customs broker(s) to ensure trade compliance within India.
- ▶Monitor shipments and customs clearance; You will be responsible for arranging, preparing and confirming customs invoices are drafted according to project and local regulations;
- ▶Organize other Government Agency documentation in support of Customs clearance
- ▶Communication of information to other departments/facilities relating to shipments
- ▶Ad Hoc Projects relating to trade compliance
- Key Skills and Experience Required
- Although training will be provided, the ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- ▶Previous compliance experience in fast-paced environment
- ▶Experience dealing with Customs matters
▶Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and organization skills
- ▶The ability to interpret large volumes of information
- ▶Computer literacy will be essential
- ▶Enthusiastic approach and the ability to deal positively with pressure
▶Strong communication (both verbal and written) and administrative skills
- ▶Good problem solver
