Mary’s Kankakee has a state-of-the-art Family Birthing Center dedicated to expectant and new parents. Working together in a collegial environment, the anesthesia team provides services for five or six operating rooms daily. These clinicians include three anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs working in our care team model. This care team model means that we focus on ensuring everyone has a voice while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
