About this role
Company Description
Hyperbaric Medical Solutions (HMS) is a physician-led, independent provider of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), with a growing network of clinics across New York, New England, and South Florida. Since 2011, HMS has treated the established indications for HBOT, including non-healing wounds, radiation tissue injury, compromised skin grafts and flaps, and crush injuries. HMS is also expanding the role of HBOT within integrative and metabolic medicine.
As a free-standing practice, HMS combines HBOT with complementary therapies and nutrition- and lifestyle-based care to support healing and long-term health.
Description of Position
HMS is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the clinical team at its Manhattan, NY location. Full-time is preferred; part-time will be considered.
Working under the direction of HMS’s board-certified Medical Director and alongside an experienced clinical operations team, the provider serves as the sole on-site provider during scheduled shifts, evaluating and managing patient care, overseeing hyperbaric treatment, and working closely with hyperbaric technologists and patient care staff.
HMS is particularly interested in candidates who have training or experience in functional, integrative, or metabolic medicine, or a strong interest in it, and who want to help advance the role of HBOT within a comprehensive, whole-person model of care. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and adaptable: a team player who steps in wherever the clinic needs support.

- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records, stay current on care plans and HMS policies, and uphold charting, safety, and compliance standards
- Communicate with referring providers, patients, families, and caregivers, and coordinate discharge, follow-up, and referrals
