Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck dump Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a commitment to adhering to safety regulations, maintaining the vehicle, and providing excellent service to our clients. The candidate must also be able to operate a dump truck as part of their regular duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailer, tanker, dump truck, truck.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of freight.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Proficiency in operating various types of trucks including tractor-trailer, tanker, dump truck, refrigerated trailer, and flatbed.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate a dump truck is required.
• Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate efficiently.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
