HGV Class 1 Driver

As the face of Hazport, our HGV drivers are quite literally our key workforce as they see our colleagues and customers every day. Driving is important to take our products from a to b but it’s equally important to be pleasant and friendly. That’s why we’re hiring an additional Class 1 Driver to join the team.

Your role as Class 1 Driver involves:

• Safely collecting, delivering and managing stock from customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading
• Managing a route per leaderships direction and delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting

What are we looking for?

• Full UK Driving & Class 1 License

- Cpc

• Experience of driving within a similar environment
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus

- Adr

We do require a full UK driving & Class 1 license, plus ADR license. Also required is a CPC card and a DBS check.

40 hours per week
