We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Propane Delivery Driver to join our growing team in Hartford, CT.
Position Summary: As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This role is customer-facing and requires a strong commitment to safety, service, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck (bobtail) in all weather conditions
- Load, transport, and deliver propane to customer locations in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering basic propane-related questions and addressing concerns
- Perform tank inspections and leak checks when required
- Comply with all safety standards, policies, and local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving practices
- Previous experience in propane delivery or related field preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy hoses and equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must pass background checks, drug screening, and DOT physical
