We are looking for a Research Fellow for zeolite synthesis and application. The role will focus on zeolite materials synthesis, catalyst preparation, performance evaluation, and mechanistic understanding via detailed characterizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hydrothermal and solvothermal synthesis of zeolites, catalyst loading and modification techniques such as impregnation and ion exchange.
  • Design formulations and optimize processes for zeolite-based catalysts, including control of crystallization conditions, screening of structure-directing agents, and post-treatment processes.
  • Set up and maintain catalyst performance evaluation systems, including fixed-bed and batch reactors.
  • Systematically assess catalyst activity, selectivity, and stability in target thermal catalytic reactions, such as hydrogenation, dehydrogenation, hydrodeoxygenation, and isomerization.
  • Catalyst Characterization
  • Job

Requirements

  • PhD qualification degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials chemistry or related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experiences in zeolite synthesis and related catalyst development and hands-on experience running thermal reactions.
  • Familiarity with GC, HPLC and materials characterization methods

- Good communication skills

  • We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
  • Hiring Institution: NTU
