About the Role

Kiln is looking for a barista who will be the heart of our space at Kiln Lehi. You'll make great coffee, but your bigger job is making every member feel at home. You'll learn names and orders, start conversations, and help turn a workplace into a community. This is a part-time role, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Some flexibility is required, as hours may vary depending on scheduled events.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Greet every member and guest warmly, and learn their names and usual orders
  • Prepare espresso drinks, drip coffee, tea, and other café items to a consistent, high standard
  • Dial in espresso daily and keep equipment clean and well maintained
  • Spark conversations and introduce members to each other
  • Support community events, from morning coffee hours to evening socials
  • Keep the café clean, stocked, and inviting
  • Share member feedback and ideas with the Community team

As a Kiln Barista, You’ll Need:

  • At least 1 year of espresso experience, including milk steaming and latte art
  • Food handler's permit (or willingness to get one)
  • Experience in hospitality, events, or community roles

At Kiln, you’re not just running a workspace—you’re building something meaningful. If you love bringing people together, leading with purpose, and creating unforgettable experiences—we’d love to meet you.
