About this role
Our partners span four continents, and so does our opportunity. We need a leader who can bring them together.
As Channel Chief at Unity Communications, you will turn a network of resellers, managed service providers, Employer of Record providers, carriers, and alliance partners into a coordinated growth channel. You will set the strategy, resolve conflicts before they cost us deals, and make sure every partner has the training, incentives, and resources to win.
If you are as comfortable negotiating with senior executives as you are about boarding a flight to meet a partner face-to-face, we want to hear from you.
How You Spend Your Eight Hours
- Define and direct the channel go-to-market strategy, including partner selection, tiering, and partnership terms
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with value-added resellers, managed service providers, Employer of Record providers, distributors, telecom carriers, and alliance partners
- Monitor partner sales volume, deal registrations, pipeline contribution, and engagement, and report results to executive leadership
- Own partner training, certification, commission and incentive frameworks, and co-marketing resources
- Mediate channel conflict between direct sales and indirect partners, as well as among partners pursuing the same opportunity
- Champion partner investment, resourcing, and priorities with the CEO, COO, and the broader leadership team
- Maintain partner agreements, deal registration rules, and program policies in coordination with Legal and Finance
- Hire, develop, and lead the partner management, channel marketing, and partner operations team across regions

- At least 10 years of experience in channel, alliances, or partner sales leadership, with at least 5 years at director level or above
- Proven track record of building or scaling a partner program in BPO, outsourcing, telecom, or managed services
- Demonstrated ownership of a channel revenue target, with measurable results against it
- Experience managing channel conflict and structuring partner compensation
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to negotiate and communicate with senior leaders at partner and client organizations
- Experience working with distributed teams and partners across the U.S., Latin America, Asia, and Europe
- Working knowledge of partner relationship management (PRM) and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms such as HubSpot, as well as partner analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; MBA preferred
- Must be based in the U.S. and able to travel internationally
