We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) KingsWay School Teacher (Years 1-8) based primarily on our Junior Campus (Years 1-6) in our Year 1 and 2 classes providing classroom release, starting 28 January 2027.
Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of 2000 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tūmanako.
About the Role
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing release for our Year 1-2 classroom teachers
- Effectively engaging with and teaching primary school students
- Contributing to the school's academic process and achievement
- Relating well and being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff
- Working a 0.8 FTE schedule across four days, with Tuesday to Thursday required and flexibility for the fourth day to be Monday or Friday

An important condition of employment is that applicants must have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School. All teaching staff are expected to uphold the special character of the School.
