Title: Material Handler

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment and ensures correct delivery and shipment of materials.
Duties and Responsibilities
- · Perform work within takt/cycle time
- · Perform work per work instructions
- · Provide and process movement of material to point of use
- · Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat
- · Inform proper personnel of material shortage
- · Check in and place materials from other cells
- · Operate forklift
- · Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
- · Practice 5Ss
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- · Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints
· Basic math skills
- · Knowledge of JDE Material Handler Menu
- · Certified forklift operator
Education and Experience Requirements
- · High school diploma or equivalent
- · Experience in material handling
