About this role
Financial AnalystWoodbridge International Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa (Hybrid)
Core job responsibilities are as follows:
Delivery of M&A activities
- Understanding of M&A activities including financial due diligence, analysis and modeling
- Manage many deals, including the preparation of management presentations, updating financial models, staying abreast of client performance, and guiding the transaction forward.
- Recognize and expose risks associated with each project activity
- Ensure projects are managed appropriately, internal processes adhered to
- Strong financial background, understanding EBITDA and balance sheet modelling
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Working proficiency with CRM systems

- Financial Experience, 2-5 years

Requirements Education/
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting or finance (a focus on financial analysis and modelling will be preferred)
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience in analysis, accounting & finance is preferred.
- Ability to execute against firm, often short-term, deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Aptitude for applying financial accounting, corporate finance, business analysis, and report writing
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle and thrive with increased independence
