Software Engineer / Platform Engineer (Openshift/Kubernetes Specialist)
Key Responsibilities
- •Design, engineer, and automate the lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, treating infrastructure as software.
- •Develop robust automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling using Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
- •Implement and maintain OpenShift components such as OVN-Kubernetes networking and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) storage.
- •Engineer reliability and performance optimizations to ensure high availability of the container platform.
- •Implement GitOps workflows for cluster configuration management.
Requirements
- •Experience: Intermediate: 3+ years
- •Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes internals.
- •Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash or Python.
- •Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- •Knowledge of storage (Ceph/ODF) and networking (SDN, OVN) in a containerized environment.
- •Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools.
