Contract Sales Manager

About this role

Furniture Concepts is a contract manufacturer specializing in heavy-use furniture for health care and government markets. We are currently seeking a Contract Sale Manager. The ideal candidate will have an interest and / or experience in sales. Full-time.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement for this position. A bachelor's degree in business or a related field may be preferred. One to three years' experience in a sales or marketing environment is required. Candidates must possess excellent time-management skills, strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. They must be able to sit at a computer and keyboard for extended periods of time.

• Job Duties Include:
• Meet or exceed mutually agreed upon level of sales volume.
• Meet or exceed mutually agreed upon profitability targets.
• Understand discount structure and write sales to end users, dealers, distributors, networks, state contracts and independent sales representatives.
• Maintain and grow Contract Sales volume by completing required telephone sales, written correspondence and sales calls at customer facilities.
• Make timely follow-up calls to customers to confirm receipt of catalog or other mailing.
• Attend all appropriate trade shows.
• Some occasional outside travel may be required.
• Regularly assess how sales, marketing and service departments can work together to deliver seamless customer service.
