CAA opportunity at large practice in Macon, GA, collaborating in a care team model, based at Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center. This practice offers a full array of anesthesia services and is recognized for excellence on a national level and is among the premier teaching hospitals in the United States. As the second-largest hospital in Georgia, it has 637 licensed beds for medical surgical, cardiac surgery, trauma treatment, and pediatrics.

The facility has a Level I Trauma Center, a children’s hospital built in 2019, 34 operating rooms and several ancillary suites, and a stand-alone outpatient facility. The practice consists of 16 anesthesiologists and 58 anesthetists including CRNAs and Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) who all work together in a care team model. • Salary: $225K-$265K with upwards to $40K-$50K per year in call pay

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
• Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
