Role Summary

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Manager to own, manage, and optimize the systems behind offset print and manufacturing operations at our Allen, TX facility. This role is the primary subject matter expert for Visual ERP, Heidelberg Prinect, and PrintIQ. It also builds the Power Apps and Power BI tools that connect the plant floor to the business.

You’ll work with production, prepress, planning, and finance to keep job data accurate from quote to shipment, and you’ll lead the push to digitize plant floor processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary SME and administrator for Visual ERP. Support work orders, BOMs, routings, inventory, scheduling, and job costing.
  • Manage Heidelberg Prinect systems, including Production Manager, Pressroom Manager, job ticketing (JDF/JMF), press connectivity, and production data capture.
  • Manage PrintIQ for offset and manufacturing jobs: estimating, job setup, scheduling, status tracking, and handoff to downstream systems.
  • Own integrations and data flow between PrintIQ, Prinect, and Visual ERP so job, material, and production data stay in sync.
  • Build and support Power Apps for plant floor needs such as production data entry, checklists, material tracking, and downtime logging.
  • Build and maintain Power BI reporting on throughput, OEE, waste and spoilage, job costing, and on-time delivery.
  • Keep data accurate by setting master data standards, running audits, and fixing mismatches between systems.
  • Be the first escalation point for system issues. Find root causes and coordinate fixes with vendors (Heidelberg, PrintIQ, Infor) and Fanatics IT.
  • Plan and run upgrades, patches, and new module rollouts, with testing that keeps production disruption low.
  • Train users across shifts, and write and maintain SOPs and system documentation.
  • Drive plant floor digitization by finding manual and paper-based processes and replacing them with connected workflows.

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of experience in manufacturing systems, ERP administration, or print MIS/workflow in a production environment. Print or packaging is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Visual ERP, Prinect (Heidelberg), or PrintIQ. Experience with all three is preferred.
  • Experience building Power Apps solutions and Power BI dashboards (DAX, Power Query).
  • Working knowledge of the offset print workflow, from prepress through press and finishing.
  • Comfort with SQL and data analysis. Integration experience (APIs, JDF/JMF) is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, and comfortable working on the plant floor and with vendors.
  • Clear communicator who can train operators and present findings to leadership.
  • Able to work on-site in Allen, TX five days a week, with occasional off-shift support during critical production windows.
